I’m incredibly biased insomuch that I have a respectful personal relationship with most of the cast, an overwhelming appreciation for the subject manner and universal belief of production that features the best of the Bay Area. I let it sit on me for almost 24 hours and I have decided that it is probably the all around best video game I have ever played. Ever. I have been playing video games for close to twenty years now and never have I been so immersed in a game. The story, art direction, level design, and game play complimented each other perfectly to make what was likely my best ever overall game experience. And the ending. THE FUCKING ENDING. This game was written like an elaborate novel and they executed it perfectly. It was like playing through a Christopher Nolan movie for 13 hours. THE ENDING.

hello friends,

I reach out to you today as a friend in need. Myself, as well as some others, are in the process of shooting our super hero themed web series, “The Neighborhood Watchmen.” The first season is written, everyone has been cast, and we have made up some spectacular costumes. All that remains is shooting. This, as you could imagine, is an expensive process. We need equipment, props, a crew, and a place for a few months during the summer to film. In order to acquire this capital, we have created a kickstarter where you can find information about the show, including character bios and pictures of our awesome costumes. (I’m mind guy, the best character duh).

I understand that it is sometimes tough to justify a donation like this. Just know that any contribution is greatly appreciated and right now you have a chance to be a part of, in our opinions, something that could be really great. Regardless of whether or not you can make a monetary contribution, we would greatly appreciate spreading the word of this project in any way you can. One quick post on facebook, twitter, or a reblog on tumblr can go a long way.

We are incredibly grateful for any and all ways you can help us.

This is the same creative team behind the insanely good Dr. Strange: The Oath.

The unique thing about The Private Eye is that it’s being directly offered by BKV and Martin through Panel Syndicate as a download with a pay-what-you-want price tag a la Bandcamp and VHX. We’ve long been proponents of this sort of donation-based content delivery and really hope this can open the door for more creators to get their work in the hands of readers.
